Crispy Roasted Chickpeas

Ingredients:

3.5 cups Chickpeas, cooked and cooled

2 tbsp Olive Oil

1.5 tsp Salt

1/2 tsp Garlic Powder

1/4 tsp Paprika

1/4 tsp Turmeric

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 400*F/205*C.

  2. In mixing bowl, combine all ingredients and toss to coat chickpeas in spice and oil.

  3. On a parchment paper covered baking sheet, empty the bowl of chickpeas and spread into a single layer.

  4. Bake for 40 minutes or until crispy.

** The chickpeas will reduce by more than half once they are baked

** Keep a close eye on them in the oven after the 30 minute mark as they go from crispy to burned very quickly.

Substitutions:

Olive oil: Avocado oil, coconut oil, canola oil
